12 Jul 2016 12:21 PM - RSP cleans up at The Advisor Business Awards

I would like to take this moment to announce a big congratulation to Brad Sewell for taking out Broker of Year 2016 from The Advisor Australian Broking Awards announced earlier this month in Sydney.

This is in recognition for his tireless commitment to assisting farmers and commercial business owners in rural and regional Australia in sourcing agribusiness loans and commercial finance for expansion, reducing their interest costs within the business and providing ongoing advisory support in providing funding stability.

More than 700 of the industry's best operators gathered for the Australian Broking Awards on Friday 1st July, with the hotly contested top gong going to a broker with a career spanning 20 years in agribusiness and rural property finance.

Robinson Sewell Partners’ Brad Sewell was the big winner at The Adviser’s 2016 Australian Broking Awards.  With over 14,000 brokers Australia wide, you cannot achieve a better outcome.

Mr Sewell won the coveted Broker of the Year award as well as the Customer Service of the Year award for individuals.

In addition, Robinson Sewell Partners picked up the Regional Office of the Year gong – underscoring the sometimes-unsung value regional brokers and brokerages truly bring to the mortgage industry.

The Australian Broking Awards, partnered by the Commonwealth Bank, recognises the best individuals and businesses in Australian mortgage broking.

“This has been another huge year for mortgage broking,” Sterling Publishing managing editor of mortgages and real estate, James Mitchell, said.

“Strong demand for finance has created a highly competitive market for both residential and commercial mortgages, which in turn has led to some great developments in the third-party channel,” Mr Mitchell said.

“The Australian Broking Awards recognises new brokers, established brokers, regional brokers, asset finance brokers, commercial brokers, loan administrators, aggregation groups and many more.

“Within these categories we will recognise the innovators, the diversifiers, and those giving back to their communities through service programs. I look forward to seeing you all there,” he said.
